The Chicago public school system has decided to defy the President of the United States and provide children a vivid example of criminal conspiracy unusually reserved for backroom education union meetings. No wonder Chicago property crime and violent murders are surging – they teach the young that law doesn’t matter.

More than 392,000 students attend public schools in Chicago, and on Tuesday a letter was sent home with each of those students telling their parents that Chicago schools will not “assist in the enforcement of federal civil immigration law.” In fact, the letter actually says that federal officials will not even be allowed “to access CPS facilities.”   Continue reading

Tulsa Republicans will gather to watch the Inauguration of President Donald J. Trump at Mamadou’s restaurant, downtown inside the Aloft Hotel at 200 Civic Center, Tulsa Friday, January 20th beginning at 11:00 am.

“We’ve received so many calls and messages this week asking us to recommend a “Republican Friendly” place to go watch that we decided to find a place to gather. Many Tulsans are excited to see America upgrade their president, but couldn’t make the trip to D.C.. This gives them an opportunity to witness and experience a historic moment with other like-minded citizens,” said Mike Ford, Chairman, Republican Party of Tulsa County.

Voter Registration Deadline: October 14

Vote2016aFriday, October 14, is the last day to apply for voter registration in order to be eligible to vote in the November 8, 2016 Federal, State & County General Election & the City of Tulsa General Election (Council Districts 1, 2, & 9 only), Tulsa County Election Board Secretary Patty Bryant said today.

Bryant said that persons who are United States citizens, residents of Oklahoma, and at least 18 years old may apply to become registered voters.

WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), senior member of the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC), cosponsored the Taking Responsibility Using Secured Technologies (TRUST) Act (S.3135), which would revoke former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s security clearance as well as the security clearances of Sec. Clinton’s colleagues at the State Department who exhibited extreme carelessness in their handling of classified information.

The TRUST Act also expresses the sense of Congress that Sec. Clinton should not have access to classified information again until she earns the legal right to such access.

The Oklahoma Senate Joint Committee on Appropriations and Budget Thursday approved three additional measures aimed at helping close the budget gap for the 2017 fiscal year budget.  The measures approved by the committee reform various tax credits and incentive programs, generating new revenues for the state.
