The 20-year title drought for the Tulsa Drillers is over. The Drillers completed a three-game sweep of the Texas League Championship Series Friday night with a 5-2 win over San Antonio. The victory gave Tulsa its first Texas League Championship since 1998 and its first since becoming a Los Angeles Dodgers affiliate just four years ago. Continue reading

Monday wins Iba Citizen Athlete Award

Kenny Monday is a native Tulsan who started his wrestling career at age 6 at the local YMCA where wrestling became his passion. He will be named the male recipient at the Rotary Club of Tulsa’s 25th Annual Henry P. Iba Citizen Athlete Awards in June.
Monday won four State titles and went undefeated in high school with an amazing record of 140-0. In his collegiate career at Oklahoma State, he was a three-time NCAA finalist, who took top-prize in 1984 as the NCAA National Champion. Continue reading
OU basketball vs. USC in Tulsa

The Oklahoma Men’s Basketball team will face the USC Trojans at the BOK Center on Saturday, December 15 for a neutral site game.
The two teams faced off in the same non-conference, off campus game last year in Los Angeles at Staples Center on December 8, 2017 with the Sooners winning 85-83. The Sooners ended the 2017-2018 season 18-14 overall and lost in overtime in the first round of the NCAA tournament to seven seed Rhode Island. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 25 at 9 AM.
