Christian school organizes worldview event

What started out as a small event at the Tulsa campus of Mingo Valley Christian School for its Middle School and High School students in 2004 has turned into a multi-school  conference with over 500 attendees from nine private Christian schools and several area homeschools at the Bartlesville campus of Oklahoma Wesleyan University to be held on November 16, 2012.

Mingo Valley’s student leadership group, The Citadel, is the organizer of the event and has engaged AXiS, an offshoot of Summit Ministries (www.axis.org) to present this year’s program.

The schedule for the day will include a time of worship, an address from OKWU President, Dr. Everett Piper, followed by three morning sessions, lunch, and three afternoon sessions.

“Teaching a biblical worldview to our next generation of leaders is perhaps one of the most important responsibilities we all share as Christian educators.  Oklahoma Wesleyan is thrilled to stand shoulder to shoulder with our regional Christian high schools in sponsoring Worldview Day for over 500 high school students on our campus this fall!"  Everett Piper, Ph.D., President Oklahoma Wesleyan University

Mingo Valley Christian School is a discipleship school that helps students develop a biblical worldview as they learn to think well and communicate effectively and persuasively.  We serve God in partnership with parents to build faith, knowledge and character in the hearts and minds of our students. Our school provides a family atmosphere where your children feel loved and cared for by Christ-like teachers and staff.  Academic excellence, extracurricular activities, and a focus on spiritual development make Mingo Valley a great school.  To learn more about us, please visit our website at www.mingovalley.org for more
