TEMPE, AZ–The Central Hockey League announced today that Tulsa Oilers forward Rob Hisey has been named as player of the week, sponsored by Oakley. The honor comes after Hisey had a very good week of hockey for Tulsa, with a hand in all 5 goals scored in the Oilers home victory over the Rapid City Rush last Tuesday night, and a two goal outing on the road in a 5-4 loss to the Mississippi Riverkings last Friday.
His efforts helped the Oilers score 7 of the 9 goals they scored last week, and his 12 points have him tied for second in the league in scoring. His efforts have helped keep the Oilers in 3rd place in the Central Hockey League’s northern conference.
The Oilers take the ice on Tuesday night against the Allen Americans, the only team with a nearly unblemished record of 4-0-1 at 7:05pm in the BOK Center. The game will feature $2 soda and beer at all concession stands. Tickets for all Tulsa Oilers home games are on sale at the Oilers office, the BOK Center, and all Reasors food stores.
