Tulsa Today endorses Shelley Gwartney for District 33, a Conservative Republican with an accomplished background as a businesswoman in organizational management, infrastructure, and communications. She’s a woman of faith, devoted mother, and trusted community leader.

This south and west Broken Arrow and some east Tulsa district is 55% Republican and less than 30% Democrat and the elected will replace term-limited Senator Nathan Dahm.

OU Health & Epic Offer Student Telehealth

Epic Charter Schools and OU Health are collaborating to provide expert medical care to Epic’s more than 30,000 students through a telehealth program beginning this fall that will provide school-based, virtual medical care, regardless of their insurance status, the organizations announced today.

OU Health and Epic Charter Schools will offer the service to all Epic students for sick visits, chronic disease management and some behavioral health conditions. Each school is equipped with telehealth software and associated diagnostic devices that will allow them to perform comprehensive virtual health examinations in school.

Mayoral Candidate Monroe Nichols

On meeting Mayoral Candidate Monroe Nichols, it is easy to see how he has gained traction in this election contest. He is personable, knowledgeable, and intelligent. But even in casual introduction, it was obvious we hold vastly different perspectives on public policy.

Question: What do you want to accomplish for Tulsa different from other candidates?

I launched the campaign after being in the Oklahoma Legislature for eight years. I could have served four more years before terming out, but looking at this community, we have crisis we see every day.

Beware: MPox Disaster Cronyism

I am constantly amazed at how recent headlines validate the core ideas and observations about psychological warfare that Jill and I have chronicled over the last two years.

Now, everyone seems to be talking about censorship, propaganda, fifth-generation warfare, and media manipulation. But they still do not seem to be quite ready to acknowledge the systematic, methodical weaponization of fear of death consequent to various infectious diseases.

This promoted fear repeatedly follows a standard, predictable process and script.

We are being bombarded with fear messaging, propaganda, and, in particular, subjected to a strategy that I have termed “Psychological Bioterrorism.”

Rep. Humphrey on “shady” OMMA

 Updated: Rep. Justin Humphrey, R-Lane, Tuesday released a scathing review of the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA). Humphrey serves District 19 which includes parts of Atoka, Bryan, Choctaw and Pushmataha counties. OMMA offered a response which has been added at the end of this story.

“For the last year I have been working with whistleblowers from the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority to expose improper and possible criminal acts. These whistleblowers have documented an abundance of shady purchasing practices, including failure to use purchase orders and conducting business without proper contracts.
