The Tulsa Revolution arena soccer team will host the Dallas Sidekicks in a preseason exhibition game at Soccer City Tulsa located at 5817 S. 118th E. Ave this Friday at 2pm. The game is the first of two exhibition games the team will host prior to the start of the 2014-15 inaugural season of the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) later this month.
It will be the first game for new head coach David Yates and the first game experience for the new players on the Tulsa squad. These two teams squared off several times during the regular season last year, and the rivalry will continue this season. The Sidekicks are led by former indoor soccer star Tatu, now the team’s head coach.
The next exhibition game for the Revolution will be on October 25th in the Cox Business Center when they will take on the Mexican National Indoor Soccer team. As a promotion, the Revolution are inviting kids to come in costume for “Trunk or Treat” night.
The team will begin league play in the MASL on Saturday, November 8th at Wichita, and the home opener is slated for November 14th when they take on Oxford City FC at the Cox Business Center.
